We live in a fast changing world. Expectations from employers are very different from what they used to be a decade ago. The younger generation, though very smart and capable of taking advantage of technology, is missing on learning some essential skills which are much needed at the work place. Something which today's education models do not seem to address effectively.
We at AltEd hope to make a contribution towards plugging these gaps and offering impactful sessions which will help increase the capabilities of a variety of professionals. Not through run-of-the-mill, jargon-filled training programs, but through hands-on experience of our team of professionals who have been leaders in the industry and are today involved in sharing their stories via engaging workshops. Mentors who continue to be practitioners. Hence, we don't prefer to be called trainers.
Yes, our approach is going to be primarily workshop based. Workshops which we expect will be attended by participants who have taken their own call to attend. Participants who have taken ownership for their own development and are keen to be in total control of what skills they want to hone as opposed to attending training programs which someone else pushed them into.
